Fatal Crash at Park Tavern in Minnesota Leaves Two Dead, Investigation Underway

Two individuals have died, and three others sustained injuries after a man drove into the outdoor patio of the Park Tavern in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, on Sunday evening. Authorities received reports of the incident around 8 p.m. local time.

According to a spokesperson for the St. Louis Park Police, surveillance footage captured the driver entering the tavern’s parking lot, attempting to park, and subsequently crashing into the patio area. The police have not yet released this footage.

As a result of the incident, two people lost their lives, while the conditions of the three injured individuals remain unclear at this time. The driver has been taken into custody and is facing charges of criminal vehicular homicide.

The Minnesota State Patrol is conducting a reconstruction of the events surrounding the crash, and officials have stated that the investigation is ongoing.
